Eastern Star Martial Arts Academy, LLC (Eastern Star) is a Christian owned and operated martial arts school located in Charleston, West Virginia. The Korean art of Tae Kwon Do is the base style. Our mission is to Provide family orientated martial arts training for people of all ages and all walks of life. Creating a safe environment where they can partake of the various health benefits that the martial arts provide, such as weight loss, greater flexibility, enhanced concentration and mental alertness, increased strength and muscle tone.
Inspired by the connection between the Tenets of Tae Kwon Do and the teachings of Christianity, Master Martin established Eastern Star in 2003. Master Martin is a fourth-degree black belt with over 10 years of teaching experience. In addition to Tae Kwon Do Master Martin also teaches techniques from: Ninjutsu Kickboxing Capoeira Basic Self-Defense Weapons Training
